罗伯特是董事会认证的国际律师、持证报关员和认证出口专家，他的工作重点是美国进出口交易的规划、合规、执行和安全方面。凭借二十多年的专业经验，罗伯特为分析和解决海关和贸易问题带来了经验丰富、专业和多文化的知识和观点。
作为Harris Bricken国际贸易法小组的成员，Robert帮助客户优化职责，展示合理的谨慎，遵守PGA要求，获得出口许可证和执照，保护知识产权，实现供应链安全，导航进口入境/清算和出口清关/验证过程，挑战行政决定，回应机构查询和沟通，并披露违规行为。在执法问题上，罗伯特积极工作，以减轻处罚、扣押/没收（商品和货币）和违约金索赔的影响。
在加入哈里斯-布莱肯之前，罗伯特在一家财富50强企业从事海关和贸易法律工作，在墨西哥担任外国法律顾问，在前美国贸易代表威廉-布洛克手下担任贸易政策分析员，并为世界银行和美国国际开发署提供贸易咨询服务。
罗伯特拥有国际贸易的博士学位和美洲法的法学硕士学位，就国际贸易问题进行写作和演讲，并能熟练使用西班牙语。在不参与客户的海关和贸易问题时，罗伯特喜欢阅读、写作、保护历史财产、园艺、滑雪、徒步旅行、练习普通话，以及与他的妻子一起乘坐Airstream。
