Vu Nguyen, Vietnam Business Advisor

Vu has been Harris Sliwoski’s go-to person for doing business in Vietnam for over a decade, but with a massive increase in Vietnam work (due largely to increased tariffs on Chinese goods), Vu has now been made a part of our international team to enable us to better meet the needs of our Vietnam law clients. As Harris Sliwoski’s Vietnam business advisor, Vu focuses on facilitating communication between foreign and Vietnamese entities by strengthening business relationships through better contracts and stronger operations. When necessary, he also works with Vietnamese governmental bodies to facilitate our clients’ on the ground Vietnam goals. Vu also advises Harris Sliwoski’s Vietnam law clients, especially foreign-based businesses working with manufacturing companies in Vietnam.

Vu received his Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Business from Hoa Sen University in 2012 and he also spent a couple of years studying at universities in the United States. Since then, he has worked in business interpretation and translation, as well as management and project management. The combination of these experiences enables him to advise not only on language and communication, but on business operations as well.

Outside of work, Vu enjoys photography, volunteering, and community arts performances.
