Tom Oster, Attorney

Tom Oster

Tom is an experienced litigator out of Harris Bricken’s Seattle office. He represents clients in complex commercial, insurance coverage, real estate, regulatory, and appellate matters. Tom practices in the state and federal courts of Washington and California, and represents clients in matters from pre-litigation through trial and appeal. Tom has significant summary judgment, discovery litigation, deposition, and trial experience, as well as experience in preparing contractual and mandatory arbitration, mediation, and appraisal alternative dispute resolution proceedings.

Prior to joining Harris Bricken, Tom practiced for nearly three years at a busy Seattle-area insurance coverage firm, and four years at a boutique real estate firm specializing in residential and commercial redevelopment in the Los Angeles-area real estate market. Tom has won seven trials and has resolved dozens of other actions on terms favorable to his clients prior to or in lieu of trial.

Tom graduated from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law, where he served for two years on the editorial board of Hastings’ Constitutional Law Quarterly.

Outside of work, Tom enjoys exploring the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest, off-roading, traveling, and spending time with his wife and preschool-age daughter.
