Robert focuses on helping our clients plan, protect, and expand their businesses. Robert works closely with companies and entrepreneurs at every stage of development to help them assess their legal needs and pursue their long-term goals. He assists both domestic and foreign companies on corporate and transactional matters, involving entity formation, financing, contracts, company compliance, and business transactions. Robert is the managing attorney of the Seattle office and he also heads up our foreign direct investment team for incoming U.S. investments.
Robert graduated cum laude from Georgetown Law, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Georgetown Journal of International Law. He further developed his knowledge of international law by working at an international trade firm in our nation’s capital and at the Bureau of Industry and Security, and the Software Freedom Law Center. Every year since 2017, Robert has been named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers magazine.
In his spare time, Robert enjoys tennis, canoeing, hiking, and doting on his pet dogs, cats and iguana.
