Kylea Brown, Paralegal
In addition to being Harris Bricken’s international trade and customs paralegal, Kylea also supports our growing immigration practice. As a graduate from Central Washington University, Kylea is fluent in both English and Russian, and spent part of her undergrad years studying at Vladivostok State University of Economics. After completing her degree, Kylea spent several years in an executive role working for an international merchant, primarily in the seafood sector. In 2020 she passed one of the hardest exams in the United States, the Customs Broker License Exam, which has an average pass rate of 15%. Kylea’s exposure to foreign policy through her career and education encouraged a fierce passion for international relations, trade and customs. Both her rich global perspective and unique experiences have quickly defined her as a dynamic and invaluable member of our trade team.
Outside of the office, Kylea is a superstar mom to her incredible daughter Sasha, and two cats, Blu and Tigger. She spends her down time as a swashbuckling Captain with Pacific Northwest pirates and others, camping, supporting local, independent arts, and proudly representing Harris Bricken as a member of the Network of Executive Women, the Young Professionals International Network, World Affairs Council, and the Washington Council for International Trade.
