Mason Marks in Business Insider

Marks has been deeply involved in the psychedelics space over the past few years.

He’s an attorney for the international law firm Harris Bricken, where he will focus on the psychedelics market in Oregon as it comes online. He’s advised commercial clients and government regulators. Previously, he served on the Oregon Psilocybin Advisory Board and chaired its licensing subcommittee.

Under Marks’ leadership, the subcommittee created recommendations for the program’s licensing process, facilitation guidelines, safety requirements, and religious uses.

He is also a medical doctor and founder of the Project on Psychedelics Law and Regulation at Harvard Law School. Currently, Marks is a professor at the Florida State University College of Law.
