They Said it on Marijuana, Quotable Saturday, Part XXXVIII

One of the things we are constantly seeking to do here is “normalize” marijuana. By normalizing, one of the things we mean is to convince the world that there should be no stereotyping marijuana users, just as there is no stereotype of a person who enjoys a glass of wine or a beer now and then. We think it important to knock down stereotypes both to dispel the idea that anyone who has ever lit up is any different from those who have not and because we think it ridiculous to judge someone on whether they have ever tried cannabis or not.

Consuming cannabis is just not a good indicator of anything.

So, to rock your world just a little bit and to shake your stereotypes, we today present you with Sarah Palin, who not only had involvement with cannabis, but when asked about it, made very clear that she inhaled:

I can’t claim a Bill Clinton and say that I never inhaled

Ms. Palin also had this to say about marijuana;

If somebody’s gonna smoke a joint in their house and not do anybody any harm, then perhaps there are other things our cops should be looking at to engage in and try to clean up some of the other problems we have in society.

There you have it.
