Marijuana Legalization

Though we vociferously maintain that cannabis should be legalized for all purposes, author Steven Gould makes an important point here: medical marijuana is still kept from those that could significantly benefit from it and that is often done because people oppose its recreational use.

Many families have had to move to another state simply because one of their family members could not legally access their medicine. And let’s face it, patients using pharmaceutical drugs would never have to make such a move both because that would be unconscionable and because the pharmaceutical industry is a big, powerful industry.

Is it humane to deprive people of their medicine simply because some believe cannabis should not be used for recreational purposes? Does that even make sense to you?

  1. all use is therapeutic. no matter you eat the seed, smoke the dried flower, juice the plant, use the oil, lather the salve, shampoo your hair. everyone ends up feeling better. and not just for humans or animals, it’s environmentally healing also.

  2. Cannabis is purest medicine, so every use of it is medicinal.

    Sincerely Yours,
