Ben advises Chinese and Taiwanese companies on doing business in the United States. He also advises American companies on doing business in Asia, particularly in China, Taiwan and Japan. With more than ten years of law firm and government experience in providing counsel on international agreements involving intellectual property, distribution, licensing, research and development, technology, and strategic alliances, Ben is a trusted and reliable resource for his clients.
Though born and raised in the heartland (Madison, Wisconsin), Ben’s academic studies and professional life have taken him across many seas and continents. Having lived and worked internationally, Ben is fluent in both Mandarin and Japanese. When he is not stateside, he is likely to be found teaching law in Taiwan, where he spends most of his summers.
